Inspired by annual trips to Mexico and a love of flavorful foods, Jake Newcomb of Newks started with a homemade recipe that was shared with friends, family, and co-workers. After receiving a lot of positive feedback and a demand for more, Newcomb launched a Kickstarter campaign that was funded in under a day. This mild verde sauce has a touch of sweetness from the green apple and maple, followed by a sharp bite from the jalapeño and serrano peppers.
TRY IT ON:
Quiche, eggs, pork chops, tacos, rice, veggies, apple sauce. Take a bite of an apple, pour groovy green into the space made from the bite, and take another bite. If you want to get experimental, try thinning it out with oil or vinegar and using it as a salad dressing!
INGREDIENTS:
White Vinegar, Water, Granny Smith Apples, Serrano, Jalapeno, Maple Syrup, Tomatillo, Green Bell Pepper, Onion, Lime, White Sugar, Garlic, Sea Salt.
