La Pistola was the first in a series of collaboration sauces that mash-up the hot sauce styles of "J's Small Batch" with the small urban farm roots of "Paulman Acre." Released as part of the "California Hot Sauce Solutions" catalog, this fruity, smokey, sweet, and tangy sauce was intended to be a one-off project to sell at a local Strawberry Festival. When the demand for a second batch grew to a fever pitch, they happily and humbly relented (luckily for us and our subscribers).
