Hank Sauce was created by 3 college roommates while attending Flagler College, in St Augustine, FL. Hank made the sauce for personal use until roommate Matt, who hated hot sauce at the time, asked if they could bottle some for a graphic design project focused on packaging. The third partner, Josh, rounded out the team with his business degree. After college, the trio moved back to native South Jersey to build the brand while also opening the Hank Sauce Restaurant 2 blocks from the beach in Sea Isle City. With the help of some of their best friends, the crew has made every bottle by hand for the last 6 years.
